The DfE guidance “Keeping Children Safe in Education” is the Statutory guidance for schools and colleges on safeguarding children and safer recruitment.
It is a pre requisite that all people working with children in an education setting read section 1. All of our candidates are required to read this prior to work and to ensure they regularly refresh their knowledge. We ensure any updates are communicated to our candidates. Our own safer recruitment policies are modelled on this guidance.
