The current crisis has had a huge effect on everyone’s lives and will continue to do so for the forseeable future.

Hopefully, before we know it isolation will be over and you will be planning for the new Academic year. Though we do not know how life will look and maintaining safe recruitment procedures will still be paramount.

After 16 years in education recruitment Principal Resourcing are the leading provider in the area and can ensure you find the right people for your roles. Our recruitment procedure is approved by the DfE framework and given the gold standard accreditation from the REC. Now it is even more important to ensure you work with an agency that holds to these high standards. 


We have a large candidate base of current and newly recruited NQTs and experienced teachers and support staff.

Many are looking for long term and permanent placements in mainstream, alternative provision and special educational needs. We have specialists available for all subjects and key stages, full time or part time.

All our current candidate base have had a face to face interview and have been thoroughly vetted by our compliance team. All new recruits will have had a virtual interview. In addition, all our dedicated consultants spend lots of their time getting to know their candidates and which environments suit them best.

Safer Recruitment

Face to face interviews are not possible, nor safe at the moment. We have modified our procedure to ensure we can register by video call.

All candidates are pre- registered before they are then interviewed by an experienced consultant. During this interview gaps in employment are discussed and training needs are highlighted to ensure all staff are up to date on the latest safeguarding, and are offered access to our comprehensive portfolio.

To work for our agency all candidates must have:
-proof of ID and address
-proof of qualifications
-DBS on the update service
– references that cover the last 2 years as a minimum
– Barred list
– right to work in UK.

All candidates can be inducted to your school by us prior to starting in September, so they can hit the ground running.
