Principal Resourcing Newsletter

The Principal Team would like to keep you up to date on the work that is going on behind the scenes by our teams and also update you on the industry news that we have access to. Due to the closure of schools, we are working in smaller teams, with a furlough rota system in place to ensure all members of the team are able to keep in touch with both clients and candidates. We are busy speaking with our school contacts and sourcing vacancies and potential assignments in preparation for the schools reopening.

Successful Furlough

The Directors at Principal Resourcing have worked relentlessly to secure a comprehensive furlough option for our candidates. Candidates eligible through Principal Resourcing PAYE, were furloughed immediately. The New Red Planet launched the furlough process for eligible candidates on 21st April. The furlough process through New Red Planet was complex and required answers directly from the Job Retention Scheme. The team moved quickly and efficiently to launch the scheme when legalities were finalised. If you are eligible, you should now have received correspondence directly from New Red Planet, if you have not received correspondence or have questions relating to the process please contact 0161 7131730.

Long Term and Permanent Vacancies

Our teams are in regular contact with our clients and are working to source suitable assignments for you. If you are looking for long term or permanent roles, please send an up to date CV to your relevant branch. An up to date CV with comprehensive details covering your most recent assignments can make a significant difference in the shortlisting process. We also require details of any additional training courses or qualifications you have gained. If you require support with this please contact your branch.

Local News

We are proud to work with clients who are working hard to support their local communities, here are a selection of our most recent stories.

Hanson Academy: Bradford school third-biggest producer of visors and scrubs bags in country even posting to Australia. Hanson Academy has manufactured and delivered more than 4,500 visors, including sending some to Australia.

Ron Dearing College: In light of the recent shortages of PPE, another of our partner schools are using their skills and equipment to make PPE equipment for those who need it. They have been making face shields on their 3D printers.

The Feversham Education Trust: In light of the recent calls for donations for PPE, the Trust have donated supplies of Science goggles to the local Bradford Hospitals. A great contribution to the local community in their time of need.

The Education AllianceThe Trust are collecting toiletries for NHS staff serving 12 hours shifts, who shower at work and are staying in hotels away from their families. They have designated drop off points at their Academies and are delivering them to local hospitals. Their DT Department are also making visors for a range of key workers.

In addition to the fantastic support from our clients we are hearing some fantastic stories from our candidates. We are regularly in touch with our candidates and are looking forward to providing you with stories of their bravery and selflessness to support their local communities. If you have or know of any stories, we would love to hear them.
