As you slowly welcome students back to school over the next few months our Educational Psychologists have put together a transition package to assist you.
This is a presentation with recorded voice over, which is yours to keep once purchased.
The modules are aimed at providing strategies and thinking points rather than being theory heavy (although everything is referenced).
There are useful links and signposts throughout and they’ve kept it simple and easy to use – the idea being that as you are all so busy, a succinct module providing all the information can really assist.
Module 1 – Communication during transition
This module looks at the key concerns staff and children may have and then gives strategies on how to work with or overcome those concerns.
Module 2 – Staff and pupil wellbeing
Lots of strategies for managing stress, anxiety and bereavement or loss.
Module 3 – Settling to learn
Looks at routines and boundaries for creating a good learning environment. Considers recovery curriculum.
Module 4 – SEND and vulnerable children
This will look at how we care for the most vulnerable children now and on their return.
