Here at Principal Resourcing, we have a unique opportunity for a knowledgeable and engaging AAT Tutor to join one of our welcoming FE/HE Colleges based in Hull, with immediate start. You will be responsible for student engagement and learning across a range of Accounting based courses. You will ideally hold a Level 3/4 Accounting qualification, alongside relevant teaching qualifications.

You must hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Assessor qualification to meet the course requirements for students.

The College provides high quality education & training for school leavers and adults, offering a wide range of vocational study programmes, apprenticeships and degrees. You will join a dedicated staff team, delivering the very best educational experience for learners, create a supportive environment for learning that empowers students to achieve to the best of their ability.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day.

You role as an AAT Tutor:

  • Prepare teaching materials, equipment and resources for student activities and project work. To include planning and online materials
  • Deliver high quality learning experiences which enable learners to develop in their learning of academic skills
  • Support the development of learners’ mastery of skills and knowledge through delivery of contextualised vocational sessions and reinforcement of learning through practice of skills
  • Measure learner progress through a range of assessments and through providing feedback
  • Assist with learners across all programmes to include apprenticeship delivery, including completion of tracking and other records linked to programme requirement
  • Maintain academic records including registers, records of work and any other records which may be required from time to time

We are seeking a Tutor with:

  • Accounting Level 3/4 qualification
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training/Cert Ed/PGCE (or willingness to achieve within two years)
  • Minimum of a level 2 qualification in English and maths
  • L3 Assessor qualification or willing to work towards
  • Knowledge of the Accounting sector
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
