We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and driven Skills Coach to join one of our inclusive FE/HE Colleges based in Hull, with immediate start. You must have a good knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships and funding criteria to meet the needs of Adult Social Care students. You will be responsible for full-time training, review, assessment and monitoring of learners working in their relevant vocational field. The role will require involvement in some internal verification duties to meet the requirements of the course.

The College provides high quality education & training for school leavers and adults, offering a wide range of vocational study programmes, apprenticeships and degrees. You will join a dedicated staff team, delivering the very best educational experience for learners, create a supportive environment for learning that empowers students to achieve to the best of their ability.

You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role, salary is negotiable depending on experience.

Your role as a Skills Coach:

  • To work alongside the business development team in supporting the growth of the provision.
  • To ensure that all records are compliant and in line with the apprenticeship funding rules.
  • To use the college IT systems as directed and promote the use of digital skills with colleagues and apprentices.
  • To adhere to apprenticeship processes which contribute to the overall achievement rates of the college.
  • To provide an inclusive learning environment and programme, embedding enrichment activities through-out their curriculum planning.
  • Provide a curriculum in partnership with an employer where applicable.
  • Provide appropriate information, careers advice and guidance on work-based programmes to learners, employers, agencies and prospective learners.
  • Ensure apprentices make timely progress against FS targets.

We are seeking a Skills Coach with:

  • Minimum Level 5 Leadership Qualification in Adult Care or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship programmes
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
