We have a wonderful opportunity for a confident and engaging PE Teacher (Female) to join one of our vibrant Secondary Academies based in Pontefract (WF7).
The full-time role will provide long PE cover for pupils across the key stage 3 and 4 sports curriculum and is available with immediate start!
The welcoming Secondary School are part of the Rodillian Academy Trust, catering for students aged 11-16 years within supportive surroundings. You will work in partnership with the staff team, promoting the schools core values of responsibility, aspiration and pride. The role will initially be on a temporary basis until early June and has the potential for extension dependent on the needs of the school. A specialism or recent experience delivering the PE curriculum is preferred, although applications will be considered from applicants with a keen interest in the Sports Curriculum.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers, offering competitive rates of pay up to £230 depending on experience.
We are seeking a PE Teacher with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
