We have a full-time opportunity for a friendly and supportive Teaching Assistant to join the staff team at one of our partnership Primary Schools, based in the LS3 area of Leeds. You will provide effective support and intervention for KS2 pupils under the direction of the Class Teacher, promoting positive classroom management and adapting support to meet the diverse needs of learners. You will have strong Literacy and Numeracy skills to support children to reach high standards in core subjects. The role is available with immediate start.
The Primary School are part of the Lantern Learning Trust, offering a challenging and inclusive curriculum that engages students and helps them to become part of the whole school community. The School believe that positive relationships are a strong indicator of successful learning and actively encourage staff, pupils and parents to work in partnership, encouraging learning beyond the classroom.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day depending on experience and the role requirements.
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
