The cover supervisor role varies depending on whether it is within primary, secondary or special educational needs. However it usually involves supervising students carrying out prep-prepared exercises when teaching staff are not available. You could be supervising a wide range of lessons throughout the day.
The main job is to manage the classroom and ensure the students remain on task with the work they are set.
Cover Supervisors do not teach, mark or plan and prepare work for students.
Skills and experience:

- 5- A-Cs essential
- degree or equivalent recommended
