With the new term well underway we are pleased to update you on the progress of our Primary ECT mentoring. Having joined us at the beginning of the academic year, Dawn is well under way delivering mentoring sessions to our ECT candidates, with great success.
One of our success stories is Matilda, an ECT who joined us at the start of her teaching career and benefited from the ECT mentoring scheme as well as the opportunity to try new schools !

Dawn has over 33 years’ experience in primary teaching including Senior leadership and KS1 Lead roles. In addition to educating children, Dawn has effectively mentored and coached over 30 students/ trainee teachers, working with York, Hull and Lincoln universities. More recently Dawn has coached GTP and SCITT trainees to become confident and successful teachers. Dawn is working with our Primary ECT’s and will also be working with our valued Primary candidates on CPD and peer support.
