Principal Resourcing have arranged for our usual training sessions on Induction and Safeguarding, Cover Supervision and Safeguarding Refresher to take place online. The following workshops will be taking place in June and offer new and existing candidates the opportunity to go over the roles available to them, the requirements of each role, and safeguarding within schools.
Please see the dates/timings below alongside an overview of the courses that we are offering.
09/06/20 – 10am – Induction and Safeguarding
The session provides a great foundation for working with Principal Resourcing and on supply in general. The team will discuss with you our expectations, what you can expect from the team and how to keep yourself and the students safe within schools.
09/06/20 – 2pm – Cover Supervisor
This is a compulsory course for all new Cover Supervisors. It gives an insight into the role, ensuring that you are prepared for your first day in school. You will be provided with useful tips regarding classroom management, professional behaviour and the general expectations of the role.
11/06/20 – 10am – Safeguarding Refresher
This is recommended for all active candidates. It will provide a refresher on all aspects of safeguarding providing the relevant guidance and updating our attendees with up to date legislation.
Virtual briefings regarding COVID-19 updates will also follow, along with guidance for returning to work in the coming weeks.
